Looks great. Hope she enjoys it.

She doesn't like the wood grain huh? That is just the oposite of my wife. She wishes the 500 was like the SE we sold and had the wood grain dash.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

thanks guys!! yeah 69 500 i tried to convince her the woodgrain was rare and cool, but she just won't have it. she is crazy picky. hates the woodgrain wheel too says it  is impossible to see over to drive(she's 5'3). she also wanted to know why the steering column can't tilt.. lol..

Trav,
Dump some washers on the column studs and lower it for her then. :icon_smile_big:

I'm not much taller myself(5'7") and I do hate the fact that I can't lower my wheel.. so I bought the 05 movie wheel... Grant FX.  Works for me and they make it in all black as well. :2thumbs:

Man, that's sweet! I looks pretty sinister with it's tinted windows, too. :coolgleamA:
To lower the steering column, did you shim it between the column & the dash mounts?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

69charger2002

yes.. lowered it(the column) about 1/2 of an inch. also traded out the big 35 inch dub woodgrain steering wheel for a smaller 14 inch APC custom wheel. now she can see over the dash without that top ring being in the way. hey it's not my first choice to do all this. but when you got a wife like mine who lets me run HOG wild buying chargers, i am almost in debt to her for life for putting up with me.. she has seen over 100 chargers come and go.. MOST of those a normal wife would have had a nervous breakdown over.. so i am giving her my best car to date(until my daytona clone gets done lol)
