I just thought I would give a link to some pictures of a car I hauled to Tn. from Ca.  I thought a few of you might be interested in seeing it.

The rear axle's even broken? Poor Charger. :icon_smile_dissapprove:

What are it's future plans?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

For a minute I thought maybe you got yourself a birthday gift Mike. :icon_smile_big: Must have been a little work to get it on the trailer.

Happy Birthday Mike. Hope it was a good one.

Thanks for the thought on the birthday - it turned out just fine.  Yes Dean, I do remember you.  In fact I believe, my daughter caught one of those shirts that Wayne threw out to the kids.

No, the Lee is  not a birthday gift.  My wife would kill me if I actually brought that home.  I've already got one project and I definetly do not want another one, let alone a Lee with all the attention that I received just in hauling this one.

The rear axle broke on me just outside of Barstow, CA - I had rented a tow dolly, as the axle looked and turned fine. But by Barstow, the car was talking differently.  I then traded up to a trailer and got back on the road.  And yes it was a bear to put on the tow dolly, let alone take back off and then reload to a full trailer.  In Tn. I used another truck to pull it off the trailer.

I'm not sure what the present owners plan's are for it.  It was used in the 2005 movie as a sling-shot car in one of the jumps. We were told that it was one of several used in the "freeway launch" scene.  When reveiwing the movie the other night, I think it was the one used for the "shoot the moon" scene over Cooter's rollback tow truck.
