Hey gang..
now that I have the proper valve lash done and intake manifold stud/nut and bolt configuration down, I need to torque down my intake. The intake gasket set I have is what comes standard with the Felpro engine rebuild kit. Being that the intake requires additional attention, are there any experiences with the standard gasket material for intakes or should I go with one of versions Mr.Gasket sells?

They are:
INT GSKT CHRY 426 HEMI 1/16

INT GSKT CHRY 426 HEMI 1/8

I'm assuming the differences is the thickness?

The intake is the original piece.

Thanks..

have your heads been shaved ?  block decked ?   I ran into a huge problem assembling my boss's hemi...    The intake needed to be shaved .090 on each mating surface to align with the heads...      needless to say the heads have had some work done to them

Nope... no work to the heads or block deck.. After some other input from moparts, it was explained to me the different thickness gaskets are used to compensate for situations where there has been machine work/milling.... In my case, since I'm all stock, I can use the standard felpros and be ok..........
