Norway Charger has them on his silver beast if i remember correctly - I put a set in a customer's 1969 Charger.

If you install them in the back, how do you stop the front blinkers from blinking fast?  Heavy duty flasher???

Most Led's will require that you put a solid state Blinker in as a replacement.

The Old school blinkers require a load to make them run correctly, and the LED's dont draw enough power.

  I put in a set of LED 1157's I found at Wallmart for $6 each.  The effect was very simular, the cost was a lot less and I had no problems with the blinker because my 40 year old wiring has enough resistance in it

   So does anybody have any pics of before and after........are they actually brighter?   Would be very curious to see!

they are definately brighter...   only problem on 69 and 70 cars are all you see are three bright blocks in the taillights...   they dont fill the housing with light like a regular lamp...     the 68's are round to fit the housing so you dont have that problem. And FYI - the one I installed I was not impressed with considering the price...    hot glue was used to seal the lamp adapter and the metals plates were flimsy...   for my charger I will be making my own for like $50.00

No, it depends on whether I get the same results. If the $2 TP works as good as the $10 TP I'llbuy the $2 TP. But I don't typically go around asking people about their preference in toilet paper.

I noticed yesterday that alot of the tractor trailers and sand/dirt trucks have round LED taillights. Anyone on here who is electrically inclined think that the guts on one of these could be converted to the 68 taillight? They seem to only cost $25-$50.

Call The Boeing Company in Renton, WA. They're EXPERTS at LED lighting conversions and I believe their trucks also sport LED lighting !

I´ve tryed the bulb style LED´s with 8-12 leds, they are brighter than standard bulbs.
It is BIG difference between over 200 smal leds in one, than 8-10 leds .....So is the price.
