I've got a Centerforce clutch and when It grabs, it grabs hard. I'm wanting a clutch that I can feather in a little more. Any suggestions?

Personally, I like a hard clutch but without driving your car it's hard to say what grabbing means to you and to I.  If it seems to be grabbing too harshly, is it possible that there is an oil leak at the rear of your engine?

Nope, no oil leak. My daily driver is a '98 Mustang Cobra. Real easy clutch to work with in terms of being able to gradually feather it in or out. That's kind of what I'm looking for.

Centerforce uses a diaphram style pressure plate which should cut the pedal effort by about half.  I do think they have different style clutch discs.  Which one do you have.  Dual Friction?  I wouldn't think it should grab as you describe.  What flywheel are you using?  Has it been surfaced recently?  Could it be an alignment issue, ie, is the clutch parallel with the surface of the flywheel?  Have you discussed this with someone at Centerforce?
