I wanted to say that I just ordered my headliner and rear window trim from paddock and was extremely pleased with the woman on the other end of the phone. she was polite, knew exactly what I was talking about and both items where in stock and would get sent out today... big  :2thumbs:

On the second note. First I called autobodyspecialists. Now, I'm not going to go on a bash or anything, but I went on-line and looked up the part numbers of everything I wanted to expedite the order. whoever was on the phone had no idea what I was asking for even with the part numbers. Had to keep asking someone else WHILE i was on the phone what I was asking for, and then when I asked if it would be shipped out today he actually laughed at me.

I will never..... EVER buy anything from there again.

The people on the phone were GREAT! when I called and ordered a woodgarin for my console. Shipping did seem a little high, but nothing real awful. My issue was the woodgrain pealed on the edges a few months later.... no biggie, thwe cuts were nice. Just needto glue the edges! I give Paddock  :2thumbs:

when I had to call them for parts they were always awesome...I couldn't remember the name of a part and the woman on the other end said explain what it looks like, and where it belongs..I would and she would get me the correct part no problem.

I will NEVER order from the Paddock again.  I had a $300 order that only weighed 8 lbs.  They charged me over $32 for shipping.  When I complained about it, they claimed they charged the shipping price by the total dollar amount, not by how much the item weighs.  God help you if you purchase a NOS part that they have for big $$$ cause the shipping will really hurt even if the part weighs 2 lbs.

I had the same thing happen to me, I remember when Year One was the only show in town and if you needed something you were at there mercy.  WIth the competition in repro parts now, we can be a little more choosy.  I like Hardens, and that reminds me I ordered some stuff from RT specialties a week ago and still havent seen it?

i havent ordered from the paddock in years,  it seemed to me there stuff was sub par back then. kind of the walmart of the mopar hobby.   for that matter i almost never order from yearone either.   for interior stuff i typically go through dantes parts without even checking around. the dude is first class, knows his parts, and owns mopars   he will even send you samples of carpet and such so you get exactly what you want.   ask paddock to send you a carpet or headliner sample and see what they say.   jacks is sometimes a little high on parts,  but he has always been good to deal with as well.    i caught r/t speicalties when they were moving and got jerked around for over 6 weeks until i finally ordered the part somewere else.  i had always had good luck with him up to that point but there came a time when he needed to be upfront with me and it never happened.  at somepoint i may try him again, he really knows his stuff.

My only Paddock purchase was a trunk mat that was thinner than a shower curtain, no kidding. :smilielol: That pretty much was it.

i've ordered tonns of stuff form yearone, but not for the past year as i sold my old charger.  now that i got a new one i pick up the phone and start ordering the parts i need for my charger from yearone, we get to the end, and the shipping estimate.  Then the guy tells me it's $90 to ship the rear window inside trim, which is in a oversized box about 4ft x 2ft, and 1" thick.  I asked him if there was any way the trim could be packaged in a smaller box, and really the trim does not need to be in such a big box, i've ordered it before.  he said no way, i said thankyou....bye, he stopped me and said what about your order ($1500+) i said don't worry about it and hung up.  Called paddock and not only was everything in stock, but the total order was about $100 cheaper, and.....you guessed it the guy personally put the rear window trim in a smaller box and inspected my bumpers i ordered to make sure they are mint, and put extra padding in the box to pretect the bumpers.  I'll see how the parts are when they get here, but so far, paddock is getting all my business.  Even when i called back and talked to another person, they were alot nicer then the robots at yearone.   :yesnod: :Twocents:

I won't order from Paddock.  First time I called them, I needed two little items, a radiator cap and a blower motor vent tube.  When they quoted the shipping, I was, frankly, shocked.  After I questioned them about it, they said they charge by the dollar amount no matter what the weight is and I had exceeded some dollar about by about $2 so the shipping was twice what it would have been otherwise.  Needless to say, I told them I would order the parts elsewhere.  I would like to say that the person I talked to was very nice.  There's lots of folks out there selling reproduction parts now that have fair shipping and handling charges so I just went ahead and put the Paddock catalog in the trash.  They just won't get any orders for any of the $10,000 plus of parts I am slowly purchasing for my Charger restoration project.

I'm glad somebody has something good to say about the Paddock, cause I sure don't.  I ordered a set of fuel lines for my charger, and for a cuda.  I had to pay oversize shipping for both sets of lines.  When the brown Santa showed up, they were stuffed into the same box. ::)  I avoid Paddock and Year One whenever possible.  Don't even get me started on my dash cap.

I guess I may as well finish my rant, the dash cap goof was Year One's problem.  I special ordered jade green metallic which cost extra and took extra time to deliver.  When it finally showed up, it was a special color alright....black.  Then they go on to tell me it isn't available in jade green and I have to settle for the regular green.  They took care of it, but QC must have been sleepin or color blind for that order.....

8 last night, got it in place at 1:30 in the morning, spent some time this morning fixing a few odds and ends. I still need to clean up the rear sail panels a bit, but i'm happy with how it came out. could use a little steam for a few lines :D  :2thumbs:

Paddock is great, ordered most of my stuff through them...and most of the time their WAY less than Year One for the exact same parts (Most of the stuff only comes from one vendor like legendary)
When I had to make a return they were right there, my prefered parts source :2thumbs:
