Yes , I admit it.I am getting old and don't remember . I took my car to body and paint Sat .And now need some of the info I have seen and not been smart enough to keep track of. I have been watching this site for tips and sources and have always said 'oh , I'll remember that' . Now I can't find all the good topics I thought I'd remember . Any way , I figure , when I get it back ,  I will start at the rear bumper and work my way foreward. I will list what I need (want) and if you know a good place , let me know.I appreciate you taking the time to read my ramblings. :brickwall: :o :shruggy: :brickwall:

For a 69 Charger

1) tailpanel trim
2) how to keep the 'Charger' emblem on the tail panel (looks like mine was soldered ?? )
3) vinyl roof (who's got a good one and could I install??)
4) headliner (seems overwhelmingly to go to Legendary, very nice seat covers by the way)
5) cat whiskers (for window squeege things)
6) new rubber door, trunk , etc.
7) possible floor pan
8) dash-has three small cracks , can it be repaired??
9) wood grain steering wheel repair-who's good/resonable
10) is there a book/thread somewhere that would list all the possible codes for (fender tag) 69 Chargers???

I have alot more to inquire about and I will come here to ask. I have watched the topics here for a year or so and most seem very informed here. I hope this was the correct place to post this . I will try to make a list to post in the parts wanted section sometime this week.Thank you for your patience...    poppa69@sbcglobal.net

I don't have the depth of knowledge of a lot of the folks on this forum but know a couple of places you might try:

Texas Acres in Harker Heights, Texas    http://www.texasacres.com/

Wildcat Auto wrecking near Portland, Ore    http://wildcatmopars.com/

and of course I recommend you get a factory service manual. Repros available at Year One:     http://www.yearone.com/

Good luck with your "new" Charger!

terrible one

The tail panel emblem is supposed to have two studs that go into holes on the tail panel and are held there by speed nuts.

For #5 cat whiskers (for window squeege things) and #6 new rubber door, trunk , etc.  try http://rpmrestoparts.com/
I ordered all the rubber seals and cat whiskers from them.  I heard they have the best fitting stuff but I can't say for sure until it is actually installed.
