What's with the rear lights? Is that a bit of cardboard or something they've used to make it look like 69 lights?

And there's the side effect from the show that makes me cringe.  :RantExplode:

That was probably one of the best jumps I saw.  He must've had alot of concrete in the trunk, because the jump was nice and level.  Not at all, like that idiot Travis Bell's jump a few years back

69charger2002

well it looked like it was 25 feet, that may have helped considering that crazy jump back in 03 was 150 feet or so.. either way jumping generals is so last year.. now no name goobers are doing it just because they can. sick

I hate it when people just destroy these chargers,  if they want to get rid of it, give to me instead of wrecking it. gees :icon_smile_angry:

As far as I'm concerned they can jump all the chargers they want.  It will only increase the value on my cheesy 318 :D

Neal_J

Gotta love them jumpin' cars, y'all.

Yeeee Haaaaaaaaawwwwwwww.

Neal

terrible one

While it is a shame, and the car could have been saved yes, at least it was a piece of shit they jumped.

pettybird

they jumped KITT a lot in knight rider...maybe you could trade them some '82 firebirds for the chargers?

police1

yup.. another redneck with nothing better to do.... :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Here's what the orange paint is hiding.  That car wasn't even safe to weld a rollcage into, if you want my frank opinion:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It wasn't actually a DOH stunt team thing.  It was done by a fan.

The car was a parts-car owned by the guy who jumped it.
He restored an absolutely gorgeous GL using parts off this one.  He wanted to send this one out with a bang.

I wouldn't have voted to do it either, but realistically this car was a TOTAL goner.

Hey Mikedc, is there anything that you don't know about general lee's?  Keep up the good work.  You are the general lee guru and I value your info :2thumbs:

I have a pic of a general lee from 27 years ago that  I will need some info on.  I will post a topic as soon as I scan it

Mean 318

more bondo and rust then there is charger!

Red Ram

No matter how bad that Charger was to begin with...it's still plain stupid. The General Lee thing I just will never understand...but to each his own.

The subject has been beaten to death a million times.

It's not great to see GLs smashed, but the hobby has lost a lot more cars to mundane reasons.  A handful of jumped GLs are just more visible & frustrating than the thousands of cars that rot away in redneck towns all over America.
