One would hope.

At least someone seems to be on the right track :2thumbs:

Gad-zooks, if that purple (and orange) car is "On The Right Track", then I will be happy to be riding the wrong one. That rear is just butt nasty, but so is the current one, so maybe that's not a big priority in the planning.  :shruggy:

Silver R/T

we'll see when it actually happens. The way DCX is going right now I dont think they're capable of producing anything worth buying...well except Ram trucks with cummins in them (of course the Viper, if you can afford one)
Above pics resemble a Camaro, nothing wrong with camaros though if you like them :)

To snubby looking..............stretch it out a bit and do something, anything other than that, with the rear tail lights. :scratchchin:

Hey,
at least someone is thinking outside of the box.
Thats gotta be better than up to now.
I just felt it important to post this to a site that has the guts to speak out.
Maybe buy some miricle chance...Someone may hear.
They have got to redesign the current one at some point and it's better now that this kind of stuff is out there for them to see before this happens. With new leadership you never know.

The accord, altima...etc. have a four door version and then they came out with a two door version...you never know!
But with the challenger coming out, they really do not need a two door charger anymore, that would be competing against themselves.

Did I not say. By some MIRICLE chance.

All I know is. What I see here on paper is much better then what I've seen in production.

That is all.

Just another artist rendering really.  They may have misnamed it but the only mid size family car Dodge has is the Charger and they aren't going to lose face or complicate the buying process by adding a two door at this point.  The Challenger is our two door Charger and we're lucky the new owners had no choice but to let that one continue playing through.  After the initial excitement is over, I wouldn't be surprised to see that model take a quick trip to the dumper.

That one look way better than the present Charger/300 :yesnod:

That looks waaaay better than the current Chagnum. I think this concept is what they should have done in the first place.

It's a pipe dream. Doug Schramm (sp?) needs to whip up one of his ideas of what the next Charger look should be & put the rest of these jokers to shame. :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It looks like Force Performance has a new progress pic of their 2-door Charger on their site. It's looking great and not very far off from the production model.  :2thumbs:

:iagree: I often question people's motives for publishing articles like this.  I know that the auto industry hasn't been innovative for 40+ years. Do you think this is a cheap way they can get feedback.  Both positive and negative and make it into a concept?  Just be careful what you say.  There can be spies  :scope: watching us

:nana: Well,I  know I  bought an 06' R/T. Count me in for at least one.  It sits next to my 74 Spring Special.  There are also two big message boards for the newer Charger. Yes, I called them "CHARGERS".

So you guys  don't even like Mopar Enthusiasts rendition of a new Charger?? It looks like a '69. Some of you are a bunch of damn complainers. :blahblah: :bawling:  Good thing some of guys aren't running Chrysler. They would be in the same predicament as AMC.

And the Fat Chipmunk (Dodge Nitro) is just sitting on the lots & while Chrysler admits the Nitro is not living up to those same standards.

I definitely saw that photoshop/3d model on www.cardesignnews.com about 3 months ago in someone's portfolio. Its not there anymore, but overall I didnt think it was too bad, but the taillights looked a little weird to me.

Why do they wanna stick that ram grill on everything..Even though the grill looks good..they wanted to sneak it on the bumper..Get rid of it!The  rear would look better if they tried to retro it a lil more..Use 68 style rear taillights :P
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

It isn't horrible, I love that it has two doors and hidden headlights (Charger trademarks), but I don't think it comes anywhere as close to being as cool of a new interpretation of an old musclecar as the Mustang, Challenger and Camaro were. And besides, I want to see a new interpretation of the original Charger (fastback, four bucket seats, full length console, far upscale from the regular grocery getter Coronet), not the one that followed it.

I tend to believe that Chrysler looked at the new Mustang and the future Camaro and saw the need to retro the Charger better than just a name. I believe they are on the right track and give me some hope to want the next generation Charger if it hits the show rooms. Count me in for one if it turns out like the pics.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.

You have to realize it is just some guy's drawing... read the text of the article....

"We put ourselves into just such a hypothetical position. With the help of master illustrator Michael Leonhard(?), we took the liberty of "tweaking" the Challenger concept...<blah><blah><blah> ...into our version of what the retro-styled 1970/2010 Charger might look like."

don't get me wrong. I like it, allot actually. But then again I liked the old concept as well and look what we got. I'm saying I'm not going to hold my breath for MaMopar to put a nice body under the Charger name again.
