What are the differences, and how can I tell, the difference between the glove box door of a 1970 Charger with Ralleye gauges and one without Ralleye gauges???
Thanks, Todd

Ghoste

The Rallye dash cluster was standard on 68 to 70 Chargers, I don't think the glovebox door changed except for going from a top hinged unit in 68 and 69 to a bottom hinged one in 70.  The tach/clock and stand alone clock both became optional in 70.  I'm for sure no 70 expert though.  :shruggy:

All Chargers between '68-'70 had ralley dashes but the '70 lid is made of hard plastic and has the latch in the middle. The '68-'69 are padded vinyl and the latch is at the bottom. And as Ghoste mentioned the '70 door opens the opposite way.

So Todd, have we answered your question?  Is it the difference between 68-69 and 1970 glovebox doors that had you baffled or is it the difference between 70 Charger doors and other B-bodies of 1970 that do not have the same style of instrumentation?
