Can anyone tell me what timing I should use on my 1967 440 with an aftermarket mopar purple cam that has a 284 duration with 484 lift and 108 degree centerline. Thanks.

justin1987, I have a 69 440 with the same cam as you I have my base timing at 18* to 19* and total timing is 36* all in at 2800 to 3000 RPM, and car idles and runs great!!! But I had to re curve the distributor to get 18* base timing, what kid of distributor do you have ? I have an mp dis. they are easy to re curve.
