you just CANT go wrong with twentys!  :smilielol:  (yes, it's my car, and the wheels are long gone.)

Hey Hemidog,
Are those 20"s all around, or just in the rear?

Bill, those are 20"s all around. they might look acceptable in some pictures, but it just didn't look right in profile.
Lets just say, with 20x8.5 all around, you better have a firm grip on your steering wheel when you're out on the road!
The car should have been lowered, but i wasn't going for that kind of look, I'm going with convo pros  thanks for the info!

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I think the coolest (and definitely the most under-appreciated) wheel & tire combo right now is to run something that goes between the "old" and the "new."  Medium-sized rim diameter, medium-sized tire sidewall height.

Gimme an old-style rim, but in about 16x8" size, and wearing about a 50-series tire sidewall.  Subtle & cool.

Do you have to alter anything to put 18x10's in the back and 17x8's in the front? Just curious, i am thinking about going this route if there is not too much modification involved!!

I have see thread around and I do not think you have to modify much if anything

Well is the thread still around? That would be a great resource for some useful information... :2thumbs:

With a 4.5" back spacing up front and 5" BS on the back you'll have no problem and run on 255 on the front and as big as a 305 with no rubbing
I have 245/45 and 285/40 with room to spare! Hope this helps!

:RantExplode: BLAST! I ordered wheels at a show today and I went off memory (which I thought to be correct) for what size to get. For some reason I though it was 20s most people did on the back with 18's up from so that's what I ordered. The guy (who was the one that changed my mind from 18s all around) said if they didn't fit or I didn't like the look to just send them back and they'll swap it for free so hopefully they stick to their word...

Thanks Kee, I agree the 20s are probably going to be too big (for my taste) based off of the pics posted on here of other 20s on chargers. Ill try 18s all around if they are and possibly stagger 17s/18s depending on how thick of rubber I can work with.

Chargerman68, they're from coys wheels (coyswheel.com) which is based out of Utah. I ordered them from their booth at the Pomona Classic Car Swap Meet that was going on today. When I was talking to the guys there I think they said they were working on getting a shop set up in CALI so the shop in chino might be just one of the places that sells their stuff. Not sure on that one.

Ok I like these Rims......Does anyone know what style or size these are?.........I love the old look to them and would buy them in 17" for improved handling and a slightly more modern look.........these would be for a 71 R/T
