were'd you get that at? the detail is awsome! I spened $130 on models that don't have that much detail.

:o Holy crap!!!!!!!!! Did you build that? If you did, how you get the crome to look real like that? I built a LOT of models in my time including some scratch built models and I never figured out how to get the crome looking like that. That's a LOT of time and patients! More then I have. WOW! VERY NICE!!!

Maybe that is why you don't have a real Charger :icon_smile_big: Heck for $130.00 better be remote control and hit 20 MPH's. Have a Viper that will do that. Well what is left of it, hitting a crub at 20 MPH she did not hold up well.

You can get that chrome look with Bare Metal Foil products. It is a foil with adhesive back you apply and trim around.

472 R/T SE

It looks like Red's car minus the sunroof.

You can see it in the interior shot (the metal strip that seperates Rear Upper and Lower Door panels...

That 69 Charger looks great. The ones i bought is not that detailed, but i payed $5 ;) Its better to stop sniffing on glue after seeing that  :icon_smile_big:
Looking for 383 Magnum #0B196875 and 0B115166

That must have taken a long time.  Now you need to build the super detailed scale Julia to pose with it.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Even got the "correct" dusting of bodycolor on the underbody!

Very nicely done

I wish I could take the credit for that model but I just ran across it surfin' the net.   All I did was punch in 69 Charger and it was one of the "MANY" sites that popped up!

I just wanted to share with my all my brothers/sisters!

sorry!  No julia models.  I'll leave that up to you guys! :icon_smile_big:

if ya' care,...
I use chrome tape to highlight the drip rais and check marks on my Charger models, it can be bought in various widths,..  the checkmarks and lower window trim uses 1/16th. there are wider and thinner tapes as well and can be found at good hobby shops or ordered from Model magazines, in other finishes besides chrome... like gold and copper,.. there's also the black and colored tapes too.  :yesnod:
the foil is ok but hard to trim and tends to have a rough surface, the tape layes smooth but i test fit and cut prior to paint, save the fitted peices till after the color coats are dry, then spray my clear coat over the final color coat AND the tape which holds it in place, if not over sprayed with clear it will lift when the adhesive drys out and will curl...  :icon_smile_angry:

Sounds like a lot of experience talkin' there strat......

You...TOO...must be a fellow modeler from days gone by!

about 1990 I had thrombosis in my leg from a moving accident...
i was layed up for months,..  I bought all these car models like every MOPAR i could find and several were chargers (like ten) i made them on an assembly line basis like all the motors at one time,.. all the interiors at one time,.. you get the idea, i even ran plug wires on the 1/25 scale jobs, what a PITA!!!  :P
'69 coronet super bee, custom candy apple red '68 Road Runner, Chally T/A, HEMI Cuda, VIPER GTS, Chapperel 2-F, AreoVette, '68 Chrysler 300, The Silloette show car, two Charger 500s, Three Daytonas, five '69 Chargers. one 1/16 scale Jennie Lee. those are the ones i remember..

they are all in boxes in the garage,.. my fav. is a flamed HEMI orange Pro street Hemi DAYTONA.
I have't seen them things in years...   :-\
When I was a kid I did many many many kits of all kinds... I had boxes full of them, but when I got into girls, i didn't want to have the Chicks see all these toy cars and models all over my room so i gave them to the younger kids in the hood, who blew them up with firecrackers and set them on fire with glue...
i don't have a single matchbox or Corgi left...
