What is a nice size front tire to compliment my 275-60-15 tires on 15x10 wheels

Hello All,

Not too long ago I put a pair of N.O.S Gold 15x10 Cragar S/S wheels on the rear of my 71 R/T.The tires are BF Goodrich 275/60/15's........(No,they do not stick out too wide!) :coolgleamA:
I have 15x6 Cragars going on the front.

I am in a slight delima,I want to go with a tire on the front that is not too wide.I also want to go with a front tire that is not as tall as the rears. The rear tires on the rims I believe sit at 28'inches tall.
I am also running a Milodon oil pan which of course sits low to the ground.I can crank the torosion bars up a little on the front so it won't be an issue. :icon_smile_cool:
I dont want to go with a front tire that it is so short it looks funny! :hah:

Any feedback would be appreciated!
Even if you have other suggestions for tire sizes let me know.

If you want to figure out a tires height you can use this formula:  W x A x 2 / 25.4 + D

So, a 275/60/15 = 275 x .60 x 2 / 25.4 + 15 = 28 inches

215/70/15 =  26.9 inches
225/70/15 =  27.4 inches
235/60/15 =  26.6 inches

Or, have a look at my handy tire picker thing.  I set it up for rear tires, but you can use it to see the actual tire width / height:  http://vexer.com/68rt/wheelguide.html    good luck
