Can anyone identify what type of transmission crossmember I have in these pictures? When installed, it doesen't line up with all the original holes (see "empty" hole in frame in last picture).
My car is a 70 Charger and I am putting in a 440/727 auto transmission, and I was wondering if I have the correct transmission crossmember????
And, if not, what kind do I need???
Thanks,

Ghoste

That doesn't look to be the correct crossmember.  What did you get it out of?

It was on the car (PROJECT CAR) when I bought it. It was put on as a temp support for the transmission.

It's an early B crossmember that someone has modified to use a later mount.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
