It was only 100 bucks my friends had it. Tomarrow I am going to buy and pull out another motor from a VW van I believ it is 1600cc. The one that is in it now is a 1600 just rebuilt but they left it out side without an aircleaner and water got into it and ruined it. I think it will fly when I drop the other engine in.

Looks like it'll be fun this summer, did you get it fer cheap? :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I use to build those back in the day.  They were a lot of fun and I had mine street legal --well barely.  Decided to sell them when the race tracks closed and places to run off road were disappearing. I also had to drive something that held 3 baby car seats ::) when the twins were born.  Easy motors to build.  If I recollect some memory I think some of the VW van motors were a little different unless someone changed it out.  Now I want to dig up old pictures.

Actually the general lee suit had crossed my mind today. But then i got to thinking if I go some place I shouldnt be and happen to get chased ill stick out like a sore thumb in the woods so, my other idea was camo, but i like the general lee combo myself.   I also went to a junk yard that a friend's friend owns and there is a beetle with either a porsche engine in it or the vw engine that has porshce parts in it, but I am trying to buy it from her..
