I love seeing/reading how this car has come together!  Allen, I'm right there with you.  I love the detective work and feel that it is very important in every car!  Actually, sometimes I have more fun researching the cars than restoring them!  hahaha.  I think it's great that you have been able to uncover a lot of the car's history from day-one.  I've taken a break for a little while researching my 69 Bee.  I have it traced all the way back to around 1971 and then I hit a brick wall.  I'll get back on it soon enough.  Keep up the great work on your C500 and post pictures of the brochure and key chain when you get them.  That's awesome!

Allen,
It's been a while since I've been on here. You've made a lot of progress and the car is looking great. Best of luck to you and I'm looking forward to seeing the car completed. :popcrn:

Hi Allen,

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, as we say in England UK! :2thumbs:
All 500's are the best, especially in B5!!!

I've got colour change on my mind again LoL. ::) ::) ::)
How many B5 4-speed 500's are there?
So the chances of me finding one to buy is next to nil.

I will read your thread with utmost attention as I start my 500 rebuild.
Can it be formated into a book or disc?
This kinda thread needs to be saved for prosterity!!!
I'm up to page-22 so far!

I've metal-worked on a few Wing-cars/500's and many other B-body cars.
My moto is 'leave as much original metal as possible'!
So I spend many hours trimming off rusty edges and welding on carefully shaped pieces.
Never seen a good repro wheelhouse yet!
Finding a good rustfree donor car JUST AINT GONNA HAPPEN these days.
Order of donorship is:- 318 cars for R/T's. R/T's and GTX's for Hemi-cars, Daytonas for 500's!!! :smilielol:

Wow!... I almost don't know where to start after nearly two years of silence on this restoration...

First of all, my apologies for the long silence, but the last two years have been incredibly busy, challenging, and expensive.  A few details later, but for now I will mention a MAJOR Remodel of my house, and some chronic health issues that included four hospital stays.

But, now, finally I can report the Charger 500 is incredibly near completion... NO, REALLY!!!  :yesnod:

A few pictures tonight, more in the next few days...
