I was just cruising around and I have located a 1971 Charger 500. I thought they stopped the Charger 500 model in 1970??? Did they also have one in 71???

hideaway's were not an option on 1971 500's, also no bulge hoods

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

Hmmm. I didn't notice that when I saved the pic... oops :icon_smile_blackeye:  I removed it.

But a bulge hood can be added even though not correct ;)

Yep the bulge hood on the green car is actually a 73 hood.

I thought I had better pictures but this butterscotch 71 is a 500 318 car. It was for sale in 01 at our show. There was one just like it on ebay in Arizona for sale a week or so ago.

Yep, this car does not have hideaways nor does it have the bulge hood. It looks to be really factory fresh and so does the rust.

I saw a gun metal grey 71 500 in southern IL leaving the Granite City campus of SWIC, but have never seen the car again.  It was impressive.  I wonder if it belongs to a member here?
