Something I noticed after putting my engine back together is that my distributer buzzes.

I have checked everything about 10 times but I am still not sure if I even have a problem or not.

Its a mopar electronic ignition system.

I have a ground wire from the battery to the block and from the block to the firewall.
The distributer is tight, The power wire for the EI is on the 12 volt side of the resister and the ground is on the negative side of the coil.
The engine runs well and does not miss fire or run rough.

I have just never heard a distributer buzz before.

I put in a new coil (does the same thing with the old coil)
New spark plug wires.
Made sure the EI box is securely mounted and grounded to the firewall.

What do you all think?

Chryco Psycho

the pickup coil could be loose & causing a noise or the gap could be wrong & the reluctor is touching the pickup coil

I checked the air gap and according to the specs it is supose to be set at .008 which it is.
Nothing inside the Distributer apears to be loose, but I didn't take it apart and check everything either.
