I need help with my shopping list for my 71 Charger's suspension rebuild. It will be used for cruzin and some Solo II. Right now its stock with the org 318 t-bars now it has a 383 in it. No sway bars I do have new MP HD leafs in the back and a rebuilt stock pwr steering box. :slap:

Do you guys like rubber or poly bushings?

I like poly...      alot of people dont but oh well...     poly does not deflect as much as rubber (if at all) but it makes for a little harsher ride on the street...

The poly issue has got several of its own multiple-page threads already.  Do a search.

Make sure the chassis of the car itself is REALLY tight before you go throwing super-stiff springs & sway bars at the car.  Frame connectors are good, but you'd also be wise add torque boxes and the full-boogie bracing work that XV sells if you're even considering torsion bars well over 1" in diameter.  The stiffer you make the "soft" parts, the more the "hard" parts of the car need to be made of granite just to get your money's worth out of it all.
