Does anybody remember?

Does anybody remember that yellow 69 for sale on ebay about two years ago, it had a daytona wing and front fender vents on it, but had a regular grill, and went for about 10,000?

I was just wondering if someone here bought it or knows about it.

yes i remember that car. i think it was out of florida. cool car needed some work . had the fender scoops also. Rene

Yeah, it was out of florida, I was the second highest bidder, I just let it go at the last minute, somebody wanted it worse than me, just curious if anybody knew where it was. No biggie.

That sounds familiar. There's a member on another site that purchased a daytona clone out of Fla. awhile back....don't know if it's the same car though...

Actually, the guy lived about 20 miles from me. He worked in Florida but the car was in Savannah, Ga. Be glad you were the second highest bidder as that car was the biggest piece of crap you ever saw. It was in horrible shape and would have needed 20-25K to put right. The wing was not an original but the hood scoops were.

It sold and was shipped to a guy in Europe. I hate to think of the guy's face when it was delivered.
