for all you guys that are running kyb's shocks i have recently swapped them out in my car.let me just tell you guys that after 2000k miles on my build i swapped out my kyb's for edelbrock ias shocks.  let me just say that there is a huge difference between them. my car is unbelievable now with these shocks. so from my experience the kyb's are good for you guys that want to  change shocks but.. for you guys that want your car to drive better and feel better and all around performance i would install the edelbrock ias shocks. the car actually rides soother than before.... well for you guys that want feedback here it is........................... huge difference

Hey Pete!   Did you choose the Classic or the Performer IAS?

I still have old KYB's on the front...   I changed out the rears for the Rancho adjustables that came with the Cal Tracs.

I took out old Monro's and put KYB's on my Trans Am...   probably the worst choice I ever made suspension wise.

He's running the Edelbrock Performance IAS shocks and for the money (about $75 each) they are fantastic shock with great dampening and rebound. I run these on my Charger and let me tell you something, I am simply AMAZED at how well they work for the price. If you have KYB's take them off your car and immediately throw them in the trash can... make sure they make a nice "THUNK" too...

i went from Air Shocks to Monroes,.. so these are better eh?.. I'm not sure how much they would improve the ride since I'm using Super Stock Springs... can you say "BUMPY"?...  :RantExplode:

I run KYB's all around and they ride very harsh.  The car used to ride really comfy with the old whateverthehellbrand shocks that were on it when I got it.  now rides pretty hard.  When I did the suspension 8 years ago, the standard upgrade was to to uerethane bushings and kyb's.  not really any other choices.  they were not exactly cheap either.  that $75.00/shock price is pretty attractive.

I've got the ias classics. No greater shocks than these in my opinion. :2thumbs:

I've got KYB's all around.  I guess I now know why the rear end wants to come around every time I hit a bump going around a corner.  Damn!   Bob

How much do you get the Edelbrocks?  I went to the local parts store.  They would have to order them and it will cost me $103 a shock for the rears.  Can I get them cheaper somewere?

hey guys glad your listening to the feedback!!! the ias shocks are simply amazing and the was my car is set up a good shock is crucial! the kyb's have to be the worst shock i ever had. i heard allot of you guys running them so i went for them. after 2000k miles on them i hated the ride the car felt unstable and sloppy. i suggest all you guys who have kyb's to throw them out as fast as possible. they are simply awful. $100 for 4 shocks i should of known better. but now mike (angry) pointed me in the right direction....!!!! and thank god i listened to him. now the  ride is real impressive. again don't hesitate get rid of the KYB'S      guys this is real testing and feedback If you have them thinking of getting them or just got them do your self a great favor throw them out there not worth a nickle ..............give them to a buddy you don't like.
