what are the stock tire and rim sizes on a 68 charger?-MATT


ive been told its 14 x 5.5 and 215/70/14 this true?

Not sure on the rim width - but according to the Red Book the following tires were available:

318 and 383 engines:
7.35 x 14 WSW
7.75 x 14 BSW
7.75 x 14 WSW

F70 x 14 Red Streak (std w/440ci, F70 x 15 w/426 ci)
F70 x 14 WSW (std w/440ci, F70 x 15 w/426 ci)
8.25 x 14 BSW
8.25 x 14 WSW

I thought they came with 14x7 unless ordered different.  I could be wrong on that.

The stock chome magnums for 68 were 14 x 5.5 inches wide, but all of the people that
are making the repop's are making them 14x6 now or wider.
