I like the stripe. However, in my personal opinion, it should have been done in matte black...and it is obnoxiously too wide. Its not to different than any other '73. Good photography skills played a huge part in setting this car out of the crowd...not the car itself. Again, only my own opinion.

moparguy01

the rear stripe is way wide. and the price is absolutely absurd. Yes, NADA guide shows a value for these cars as being up in the 20-28k range (check it out im serious), but that doesnt mean that the car will sell for anywhere NEAR that amount. maybe 9 or 10k

RD

okay, i will be the first "its not correct" dick here... the anti-roll stabilizer bars that attach to the fenders and the firewall are  supposed to be black, not purple  :smilielol:

hehe

its a 318 se, they only made what 300,000?  I know, I have one... well its a 73 SE 400 car though, but really its just an SE

:2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:  Nice Find

I guess it's just you and me kid

Nonsense! I like it to. I might even entertain the thought of applying a similar stripe on mine. However, Im more interested in the black and a thinner width...along with my black top. Wonder how that would look with maybe a 20inch billet five star or something? Not the gangsta look, but a nice clean modern appearance. I dont know, just thinking.

70charger_boy

I'd like to slap a wing on it.  That way no one will even notice the strip :icon_smile_big:

yeah, stripe is too wide and the price is retarded.  You think he could have taken any pictures straight?  or would that be too hard?

With the price of 2 gens out of site the 3rd gens are starting to pick up value. This is a real clean example of a 3rd gen.

you entered on 3rd gen world just in time :D

Oh and BTW, nice car.

Width of stripe is just because dodge badge lenght. Interior is 71 ( at least seats and covers ). Colored bumper looks simply wrong with fillers. Grilles and tail lights housings... nothing wrong againts them but ALL argent is not the best choose I think. I would make some black touchs ups, like Standart 73/74 grilles and something diff on rear.

That's juts my opinion

anyway I think car is GREEEEEEAT... great on everything except stated above. Color combo, wheels, tires, conditions, etc... are great stuff

P.S.: there is something weird on A/C hoses

Overall, nice looking car, but I don't like the tail stripe or the painted bumpers either- neither looks right on what would otherwise be an very sharp ride. Price is looneytoons as well.
