As a 23 yr old male, with a clean record, and 30k coverage on my 70, haggerty gave me a price of 474 a year. Thats 5k miles I can use. Milage may be alittle much, but I built mine to drive, not sit in a garage.

Out of curiousity, I called the Alfa office my parents and I have used for 20 years, and they werent very helpful. I told the dumb witch(with a b) I needed 30k worth of coverage when done. She said something to the effect of, (Well, since it's not custom and has most of the old parts, a 70 Dodge isn't worth 30k to them).

That pretty much rules them out, not that they were ever a consideration.

I really would like to have insurance within 3 weeks, as I want to drive it to a couple of shows before winter.
What do you guys use?

I've used State Farm for years.   Currently have a policy with an agreed upon value of $40,000 with $100 deductible.  It costs me $94.30 every 6 months.  I'm 60 years old, which would probably lower my cost, as compared to your age.

I assume that is Full Coverage?

Yes, I carry full coverage on it, just as I do my late model cars.

I use to go with Hagerty for many years.  I am with State Farm.  Much better and alot cheaper.  Their plan is not as strict as Hagerty's.  I am also paying a less premium for a coverage on one car at $40,000.00.
