Vacuum fitting

The vacuum fitting on the intake manifold of my '69 Charger appears to be incorrect. The vacuum port for the brake
master cylinder is fine but the port for the vacuum  canister/headlight doors seems to be about one-third the size of the
matching port on the vacuum canister. Does anyone know where I could find the correct vacuum fitting for the intake
manifold? Or do I just hose clamp the bigger hose onto the smaller port?
Also, should the port/valve assembly on the canister rotate freely or should it be secure? Mine rotates like a clock.  Thanks!!

Does your car have a/c? I have one with the three ports for that. I have seen them listed on E bay alot.

how small is it?  i can check my superbird tomorrow if you'd like--i'm assuming i've got the same setup thanks to the headlights.

NO the fitting should not rotate.  quick and dirty is silicone the fitting to the can...  any other options?

Thanks for the info about the vacuum can. I'll seal it up with silicone--does it matter where the vacuum can ports
are when I seal it? In other words, should the large port be toward the center of the can? the top? etc?
Also, assuming the vacuum hose with the green stripe goes  to the smaller port on the vacuum can, why is the large
port on the can mismatched with the smaller port on the vacuum tree? Both the small ports ( on the can and on the
tree) are about the same size.  thanks!!
