HOOD SCOOP QUESTION

I bought a hood scoop from MAS, for my 73 charger.
It has a beval on the front side to fit over the line down the center of the hood but the back side is flat and is making the back corners raise up.
also, what can I do to get a better fit on the front.

notch the scoop to fit the hood, you'll be blending the edges smooth afterward with filler.
