Only one firecracker? I thought everything was bigger in Texas not Alberta!
A real answer----Basically you gut the it,repaint the doors, paint around the edges of door panels(just a swipe so it all blends in).Reinstall all of your new(or dyed) interior pcs.

depending if you want to change parts or just paint.

Change:
lower panels... repro ones around $700
Seat Covers... around $600
Upper panels... used if you find, maybe $250
Center console ( black ) around $250-300
Dash pad... $300 nice used. $600 rebuilt your actually on to black.
Rear package tray ( black )... $50
Headliner... $100
Carpet ( black )... $130
Seatbelts... $100
Sunvisors... $50

Sail Panels REALLY HARD TO FIND on any color.
Plus, paint to change steering column and dash frame on to black and headliner moldings on to white.

Of course selling the Blue interior will get partially the money back.

what is a sail panel?

is there an online retailer that sells most of those parts you listed above?

How hard is it to convert a column shift to a 2 bucket seat center console setup?

Nacho-RT74

sail panel... the one inside C pillar.

Year one have mostly if not ALL those parts... dunno if best price.

Sure YO doesn't carry dash pad, center console, sail panel and seatbelts.

Damn.. I actually have white interior car. If wasn't that I got in love with my actually white interior, I would trade since my car was originally THAT blue.

Convert from column to console. just get the parts. The hardest part is get and weld the console brackets. If car is bench, then also get the rails floor reinforcements and weld

I'm changing the interior color on my 69 now.  I had dark green seats, and clack door panels.  I'm using SEM Vinyl dye to do the job and some wax & grease remover to clean them prior.  So far it's working nicely.  I have both bucket seats done, both rear door panels, and all 4 upper door pads finished.  I don't have any pics at the moment, but I'll take some tomorrow.  3 cans did what is done so far.  I'm probably going to need another 4 to finish the rear seat, console, front door panels, kick panels, a can sunvisors, and headliner trim.  Stuff isn't cheap either at $10.99 a can.  So total cost.....less than $100 in paint material.
