GOOD LUCK! and keep the faith. that car will be something someday, you just need to do your home work and stay with it. and if you need a little help or a part here and there, just ask, there are a lot of good people here that are willing to help out. cant wait to see it done someday. :2thumbs:

Thats what I love about this place...its full of good people. Does anybody here remember that place called "Hardcore Mopar"?? I was younger and I mentioned I had a 69 Charger and a few hours later, I got an email from the admin of the site calling me a lying little brat and that I dont own a 69 Charger at the age of 9. An hour later, I went to log on and I found out I got banned. The next day, I couldnt view the site anymore, the admin blocked me from the site...all because he believed I didnt own a 69 Charger. :flame:

I can understand him not believing you if you were only 9 at the time but his reaction seems kind of harsh to me.  I think for the most part everyone here believed you but we did make you earn your stripes.  :coolgleamA:

I know this isnt a Buick forum but I need some help here. Im selling a fan shroud out of a 69 Skylark. We bought it for the GSX but it didnt fit. It looks mint. No cracks or chips. Even has a factory sticker on it. The only thing about it is its a bit dusty. Whats it worth?? I plan on selling it to get something for the Charger.

I hate to bust your balls (I like you man),  but.... No pictures yet?  Which Wal-Mart did you go to? ???  The one next door to London Drugs??  Something smells fishy.  :shruggy:

Sorry didn't read whole thread but I find if you pull-up on bottom of that strip FIRST then roll them up the come off easier.  Top curve digs in deeper than bottom...

Thanks man!! Im sorta stuck at something right now though....how do you get this chrome off?

I've also took off corners at top point and slid them forward, but you will still eventually HAVE to roll them or it will get bent.  Be careful they bend easy!

Go try it at a junkyard on a dart first....  Same stuff.

Honestly Cody, that's a big project for a young man in your position, both financially and time wise, you have decent tools and room to work right?..  I think the first thing your gonna need to get her to where you want, is a job. Not that you can't do allot in the meantime.
But posting pictures of each stage of the disassembly isn't a high priority, seems to me if you can't afford a decent digital camera, how are you gonna get that baby to compleation? Maybe you should look for work at a local auto shop or garage or even service station. It's a steep learning curve but i think i speak for everyone here in our support of your dream.  :icon_smile_wink:

Deffintley agree with you man. Yea, I have lots of room to work and decent tools...I guess. Its not that I cant afford a digital camera because I can..theres just other reasons why Im not in a rush to get one.

I said this before, but I still think we should (somehow) collectively put our heads together to see if theres a way to help Cody. Unfortunately, I'm geographically challenged (living in Michigan), but possibly some of the Northwest guys can adopt him by offering a helping hand when needed? I'm also willing, like other members I know,  to chip-in financially for some of the parts he will need. I've grown to really like this kid, and applaud his efforts.  If we can help him, lets do it.  :2thumbs:

Wouldn't this be a great episode of Overhaulin' ........Where's Chip Foose when you need him?  ;D ;D ;D

Ghoste

Those guys would just wreck it on him by pimping it out or dubbing it.   Cody's got his head on right, he just needs to move closer to civilization so we can help him.  ;)
