I found this car online and the guy is possibly interested in trading it to me for my 94 Formula.  The car is a 73 318 SE automatic.  Guy says it is a daily driver.

The guy says: "Car has a 318 engine with lower miles.Has had new gaskets and paint on
engine.Has headers and aluminum intake and 4 barrel carb.New exhaust
with flowmaster mufflers.Trans was rebuilt right before I got car in  98 with shift kit"

From the pictures, it looks like the car has a somewhat recent paint job, bucket seats, looks like the side markers may have been filled in, and I can't tell if it has a sunroof or not.  I'm waiting for another response from the guy about these things.

Heres the only 2 pics I've seen:

I'm just kicking the idea around, I wasn't expecting a response from the guy.
So what do you guys think the car is worth?

If it is no rust and nice, I'd say probably around 3-5k.  It is a 318 after all.  But I would jump on that in a heartbeat!  Nice car!

hahaha, after all these lates post where ppl say I overprice 3rd gens ( specially 73/74 ) them now need my opinion ? LOL.

well first I dunno what car is 94 Formula.

then about $3-5 worths opinion... damn half of that is just the body and paint job!!!! what does look nice I think. So one headache less.

from the distance and just two pics is hard to tell. Not too much info about equipment. Buckets ? maybe but could it be buddy seat instead console. OR Bench with bucket backs and folding arm rest

definitelly looks lower miles and also good storaged because the clear back up lense.

Yes definitelly does look is sunroof... bucket shines a lot and that shoult it be just because light is throught the sunroof.

well you know the prices I THINK are fair on another topics for A GREAT CONDITIONS car. Sunroof car I think would easily catch a BB price car.

Shame they are the only pics. Would like to give you an accurate opinion about.

94 Formula... DAMN LOOKS A NICE CAR!!!... dunno what to tell you.

Well I talked to the guy, and I can't say I'm impressed.  He says he put new quarter panels on it a couple of years ago (not sure where he got them :eyes:), and it sounds like he rigged some things up on it.  Instead of fixing the factory gas gauge, he put an aftermarket one on it, and instead of replacing the rusted gas tank, he put a fuel cell in the trunk.  He also fixed a hole in the floorboard with a license plate and self tapping screws  :brickwall: .  The only cool part is that it is a factory sunroof car.

I think I'm going to pass on this one.  If anyone else is interested, heres the link:
