Heading up to Iowa next week and I was wondering if there is anything to check out along the way?? Any car musuems, collector car dealers, or anything else that might be fun to check out!!


We will be traveling Oklahoma City, Wichita KS, Topeka KS, and then up to Ames IA.

Hey if you need 3rd gen parts, I have a bunch of big stuff im not going to ship..  Im about 45 minutes from Ames... 

Its going to be a busy week/weekend for me, but if you need some stuff just let me know.  I have all of it posted in the parts for sale section.

Well, nothing too exciting that I can think of...  They have races in Boone which is right next to Ames...

Also near Boone is the Ledges state park, its kind of neat if you want to hike some trails and look at some cool rocks.

There really isnt too much to do in central Iowa if you ask me.

Good Guys car show and swap meet at Kansas speedway. It is close to KCK though. I live in Topeka and there's not crap up here.

That is what we are headed up for!  The IMCA Supernationals, a full week of races!!  :drool5:   Just need some things to do on the way up and back.  Any resto shops in southwest Iowa???

Those cars go by here every weekend I saw them one after another all day today.  I dont really know of any resto shops, but I havent looked either.   :shruggy:
