So I am at the club last night and I happen to hear this roar of am engine in the parking lot, so I look over to see what it was and low and behold there is a 73 charger pulling through the parking lot getting ready to park.  I had to check it out.  I was like a reddish/orange/bronze color (looked original) black halo top and a sunroof.  The interior was ok but the outside needed massive bodywork rear drivers corner rusted to crap. and other major rust.  The only thing that I did notice that was wierd is that the upper door panels said Brougham??  If I could figure out how to get my cell phone pics on here I would post pics....(ofcourse I took pics IT WAS A 3rd GEN IN THE WILD.)

I've seen 3rd Gen's with Brougham emblems on them, presumably with the nicest interiors available at the time. :yesnod:

BTW, it's pronounced 'bro-ham'. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

How can you tell the difference between a 71,72,73 or 74 charger?  They look the same to me :shruggy:

Where were those photos taken?? What club?
That car looks awfully familiar...

Also the rubber bumper stops on the chrome were required in 73 and 74 - this car has them. after that, its hard to figure out which year( 73 or 74) the car is from by the pics...

Fitz73Chrgr

Theres quite a few differences, I'm sure Nacho will chime in and give you the low down.  That car is a 73 or 74 coupe or hardtop and has an SE hood ornament and SE grilles although it isn't an SE (I guess it could be one of the super rare SE's without the window louvers, although I doubt it), and has a 71/72 front bumper.

71's have the recessed side markers, the rest are surface mounted. 71 & 72 both had a one year only grille, except for the hide aways. The grid on the 71 & 72 hideaways aren't the same. The lower body lines on the 71 & 72  are differrent from the 73 & 74.
That go wing just doesn't look right on that car. :shruggy:

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

Nacho-RT74

that could it be 73SE without louvers or insert and still WP29... was an only 73 Model option and pretty rare... I think this is the 6th I see. Dunno remmeber if is roll down or not. I think was roll down. Somewhere I read that option on 73 SEs.

However, the SE C pillar emblem looks offset.

attached another ones, one from ebay and one black from a member from the old board

Talking about Brougham package:

The Brougham package was the luxury package on the Charger SE from 1972 to 1974. It included:
-Cloth & vinyl seat with fold down center armrest, or vinyl bucket seats with plush carpet, or cloth & vinyl bucket seats with plush carpet.
-Electric clock
-Deluxe steering wheel with partial horn ring
-Simulated wood-grained trim and soft trim
-Padded door trim panels
-Added sound insulation

However is not completelly true that it was JUST SEs.... mi car is hardtop and I got brougham package from a Hardtop 74 in Canada
