Ok.. brakes are good.. so i guess its ok.

Anyway.. got weak vaccum reading (http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,32519.0.html) and though this maybe was the problem.. gonna try to block all vacuum sources of tomorrow, and se if it´s getting better

Thanks

Sounds like there is a leak in the booster somewhere.  However, if there is a booster leak the brakes gradually fade and the pedal goes to the floor.

That's what happened to me this past weekend. :rotz:

no, I have experienced that "woooshhh" stuff. Is pretty more that when you press pedal then being you are enlarging the room on this side of vacuum chamber on booster, then needs to fill that enlarged volume with the air enterng from somewhere, pretty sure throuth rear "seal" of booster piston.

is_it_EVER_done?

Assuming you don't have a leak in the booster somewhere, the Whoosh is caused from a improperly adjusted M/C pushrod (from the booster into the M/C). Remove the master (you don't have to remove the brake lines), and adjust the pushrod to make it longer.

Did it just start making the whoosh noise recently? If so, I'm betting the booster diaphragm has developed a crack or hole in it, causing a vacuum leak. I just went through this very thing on my F250...HUGE hole in the diphragm. I replaced it with a new one & all's well with the world again. :icon_smile_cool:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
