What does MOPAR mean?

here we go,
I know that MOPAR is Dodge, Chrysler , Plymouth, but what does it stand for? :scratchchin: :shruggy:
Example, FORD (found on road dead).

15' Dodge Dart 2.7 SXT

It actually stands for Motor Parts. The name Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth came up with for their parts division.

I'm finding that meaning of MoPar first hand with my 69. If you look at other restoration/parts catalogs for Mustangs, Camaro etc, it's A LOT cheaper. I've noticed at least a 25% to 50% more retail cost for MoPar restoration and afterrmarket replacement parts over similar GM and Ford parts. I could have had a totally restored 68 or 69 Camaro done with half another Camaro complete for the amount of cash I have in my Charger. It's a labor of love....... Well that's my  :Twocents:
