I have tried, and tried and tried to get my driver door in alignment (69 charger) I have the passenger looking pretty good but the driver door, is givin me probs. I can get it close all the body lines are lined up, gap between fender/door good, nice even gap at the bottom, and closing well. the problem is the gap between the door and quarter, near the bottom the gap is approx. 3/16" but at the top is probably 1/4 to 5/16". Where tolerances this sloppy at the factory? I'm just building a nice driver, not a show car, but would like the gap to be a little more even. Any suggestions? or do I just need to live with this flaw? Sorry for not posting a pic, but I have done loosened everything back up before I took any pics.

Thanks,
Jason

Id make the door to 1/4 gap nice , then readjust the fender to door gap to match.

you may lose a little eveness to the rocker but its one of the make the best of what youve got situations.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............
