hEY GUYS, I am changing my plugs and was wondering what the correct spark plug gap is for a 1973-ish 440 that ended up in my 68 charger :icon_smile_big:

.035 it is

That is fine Mike....no worries. The Multi spark boxes (MSD/Crane/Mallory) like wider gaps but those gaps are dependant on the engine's compression ratio. With a basicly stock build you can't go wrong at .035  :yesnod:

Fwiw, i like the NGK xr-5's in that type of application. It's an excellent plug in the "right" heat range for a pump gas iron headed 440.  ;)
