I need to make a 1 time offer on a 69 Charger that I stumbled on last week . The owner is no hurry to sell and has owned it for around 20 years. Here is what I know so far although I have not yet seen it.

The body was prepped for a black paint job over 10 years ago,but never got past primer, the 383 motor and trans were removed and then sold for storage fees.
The body is very straight and has only 58,000 miles on it.
Major parts missing:
Motor and Trans
front bucket seats
rear bumper

Have you seen my old '69 Charger??

Without pics its hard to say. My 69 is in primer, has all the parts, and a 383 auto BUT it needs body work done it to it and its worth about 5k. And it has more miles than the 69 you are talking about.

So Im gonna say about 6k.  :Twocents:

69bronzeT5 i think you need to reassess the value of your car. Roll around on eScam and you will see a lot of undocumented non r/t cars going for way more than 5k.

Well I was thinking about 7-8k for my car but 90% of the members on moparts said 5k when I did a WIW for my car.

Bronze bronze bronze. ! :slap: I've seen pics of your car and I would have to say it's worth about 9--10K.  :Twocents:  As for any other car,  a good solid body (roller) in my opinion is worth 5--6K at least.   :Twocents:    Good luck with it.   Chuck..............

terrible one

I agree. Especially with a basically good-to-go drivetrain, everything mostly all there, etc. your car would be more like $8k in my opinion. And after you have good solid sheetmetal all around, I wouldn't be surprised to think about $12k.

bull

Really? I was going to say Bronze's first assessment was pretty accurate. No engine or trans? No seats? That's at least $2k right there.

Which one? The assessment for my 69 or my assessment for the Charger WheresMyCharger wants to buy?
