stroker tranny

ok i have a 512 stroker thats going to be  putting out roughly 650 hp  what needs to be done or what do you recomend be done to my other 727 to put up with this beast,,,,,AND  the cam will be  in the  260 @ .050 dur and .625 lift range  what stall speed and mainly what BRAND of convertor  would be best...  is TCI a good manufc.

I was very happy with the one on one service I received from Rick at A&A transmistion, He Know 727 and how to set them up for your HP needs. As for converters used Dynamic custom set-up not a off the shelve converter. :Twocents:

Ray Barton 472 ci, 711 hp, Hemi with all the right stuff inside.  $20,500.00

Bad A$$ 1968 Dodge Charger!   Fricking Expensive!

Whoa!     :o                can I ask, since that is a 472 Hemi, is it a stroked engine then?   I didn't realize a hemi can be a stroker, I guess so, hemi is mostly the heads, right?

Yes, The stroke is 4.150" on a 472ci, and is only 3.750" on a 426ci. The bore is the same at 4.250"

   I guessed with 472 ci must be stroked, but for some reason I never put 2 and 2 together, just had figured all hemi BB's were 426 for some reason.    anyways, that is cool engine for sure.
