My 69 still has the original rearend for the 318 (SB) in it...now inorder to drive it with the 383 (BB), will it need a different rearend?

No, You will need a large yoke for the large U-Joint drive shaft. And I would install the 11x2.5 rear brakes
for the big block, or disc if you can afford it. You can get away with the small rear brakes if you have front
disc brakes, many many cars came that way.

bronze, a 4 wheel disc conversion (if that's what 8wheeler meant) is expensive, but good if you have the $ to one day upgrade. :2thumbs: front discs should be good enough

Pretty sure thats what 8 wheeler said, with front disks it should be ok..
