Well the wood grain on my console looks pretty nasty , its all original stuff wore out .
    I aways found it strange that all the dash and trim are black but you got an SE style woodgrain console .
So I have been looking at alternatives for the wood grain and I found this $33.00 solution . If i dont like it im only out my time and $ 33.00  bucks .   Its black Carbon fiber so it will look better with the dash and trim I feel . wish they made it in lime green to match my Flame maple wood shifter grip.

Stuart, I could probably make a lime green console insert, I have a vinyl plotter/printer I don't have any green vinyl but could get some. I have my console I could tke measurements from?? It's a thought.

I did that to my Challenger convertible a few years ago. Looked so much better. I remember in high school hating that about the Mopars. They woodgrained everything to death.

yes hope to do it saturday i stripped the lid of wood grain last night , hope to strip the shift plate tonight ?  have some pits under it i need to clean up with steel wool

More work tonight cleaning off the wood grain and cleaning the corrosion and adhesive off

also doing a bunch of other little crap like painting up a 68 Road runner horn to be a 70

   never had my console wiring hooked up , well after buying two different hanessed to go from my console over to the rocker panel and then iup to the kick panel ?  i must have the wrong harness in the console

nothing like doing 20 projects at once ?  why not wire up an electric trunk release and a trunk light !!  and how about adding a couple more lighter plugs in the console too allong with the trunk release button
