I mean comics that make you laugh (no DC or Marvel super hero comics).

Mine hands down is "The Far Side" by Gary Larson. :smilielol:

I agree...simply the best. "Calvin and Hobbes" is a close second.

The Far Side for me too.   :smilielol:

I have the book pictured below & in it is a chapter of cartoons, that for a number of reasons, didn't get published in the newspapers.  :D

One of the unpublished ones is one of my favorite Far Side cartoons, where two dogs are standing around talking & one is holding up a jar with something inside floating around in liquid. He proudly states to the other dog, "They're my testicles, the vet let me keep them."   :smilielol:

I think the first one I had ever seen was on a greeting card or a coffee mug that I now have at home, "Cat Fud" with a the dog trying to trick the cat.   :D

The Far Side, by Far.  I can remember the first one I saw with the Bear standing up with a big target on him and the other Bear saying "Bummer of a birthmark"   Funniest stupid movie, Steve Martine, The Jerk.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I was thinking comedian also. I'll go on and awnser Mitch Hedberg. Go on and look up some of his stuff, he was hilarious.

As far is comic strip, the one where "Beetle" is in the military. That's pretty funny.

I miss "Bloom County"

I'm sure others remember Bill the Cat, Opus, and Steve Dallas.

But my all time favorate.. I can't find and I can't remember what Magazine it was in. It's when the Neon's just came out. It shows a Dodge Neon and a beat up old Mopar, challenger or Charger, can't remember and they were both at a gas station.

The neon has a bubble over it that read "93 Octane makes my tummy tingle"
The old mopar had a bubble over it that read "I think I'm gonna puke"

Funniest freaking cartoon I ever read. I wish I could find a copy of that one.
