Pretty crappy at the moment... snowing fairly heavily, a very wet, slippery snow, making driving 'interesting' to say the least..... forecast says warming through the day, turning to freezing rain, then rain, with strong winds.... gotta love New England weather.

Well I found my shades and flip-flops....wheres the sun tan lotion at.

...Crap. Everything color is tinged with either concrete gray, mud-sprayed brown or cloaked in pitch black once the sun drops for the night at around 3 o' clock. Skies are lead, rain is usually hanging in the air like a fist waiting for an excuse or pelting your head at random throughout the day. Temperatures are decent, not warm enough to enjoy but not cold enough to freeze and at least stop soaking your clothes every time you try to work outside. This kind of stuff for a month or so now... Sad to say I'd prefer a good blizzard.
Anybody got a green card and a job opening for a garbage hauler in, say, Florida? As long as the car can follow I'm flexible

Let's see, we got 14.5 inches of snow yesterday.  Today winds are gusting up to 50 mph in some areas.  They pulled the plows sometime this morning to probably give the drivers a break.  Temps are in the negatives, -2 today with windchill. Expecting worse tonight.   

I actually came to work because my company doesn't believe in closing the building down. However they just announced that they actually will at 1pm.  Woohoo, going home to spend time with wife and kid and then snow blower the drive way again....

Was woken up at 4AM this morning to the sound of Howling 70 mph winds and a tornado warning. Power went out. Had to take the kids and the wife down to the basement and stay there for half an hour while it sounded like the world was coming to an end. Walked out to my truck to find the weather bulletins on my CB/weather radio and felt that the temp had jumped up 20 plus degrees. Great tornado weather. Great time of the day for a horrible storm. Just had a tornado hit here in February.

If we keep having this kind of weather here, Im gonna have to invest in a pair. My phone has weatherbug and weather channel. Just didnt have it in the bedroom to hear the alerts going off.
