Last night I was working outside for a while, temp with wind chill was -26. Tonight wasn't as bad, with wind chill temp was -8 or so. Daytime temps have been about 10 to 15 above, yippie, not!
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

78 in the day and 64 at night in SoCal.
With a 9.75% sales tax and the avg 2 bd/2 bath house is still $300,000, paradise is freaking expensive.  :scratchchin:

Worked outside again today for the most part. Rare for me, but I did it. When I got home, I told the wife, we're moving to Lake Havasu, Arizona tomorrow.
I really dislike cold weather. She just ok and kept on going about her business as I packed suit cases. ha-ha.
Bill, I promise to send you a post card if/when it happends, ha-ha.

It's gonna be 50 or so today. Last year we had a pretty warm winter with not much snow and haven't had a lot for many years. I think I would rather throw another log on the fire then be in the 90's for 7 or 8 months out of the year. I hate it when it gets hot here for 3 months. Don't get me wrong the Southwest was a great place to visit but I don't know if I would feel at home there. There is a reason why it is a low population area. Probably a lot of it is water. Earlier this year when I went through there I crossed a dozen rivers between here and California....half were in Kansas  :eek2:

The heat is not for everyone.  I like it though. I like the fact that I can drive my car all year round to.   As much as I hate rain part of me does miss it.   We do get it, just not very much.   I would love to see a big storm with lightning and thunder for a few days.    :2thumbs:  But it may take another month or two.   :-\

This is classic car heaven, there are just more nice sunny days to enjoy them all year.
The biggest river runs right down the hill from me. Mighty Colorado, Lake Mead, lake Havasu, is all the water you need.

5 months of the year Kansas depressed me, over watered me, mosquitoed me, overheated me, rusted car-ed me, over allergend me, to a point I had leave.

Of course I'm was born in the Southwest so that is a big factor in my comming back.

There is so much to do with every conceivable recreation with in a short distance, time indoors is hard to do.

Visit skip and me you'll be a convert in a day and a half.

Population is low and getting lower.  ;)

Well it's 12:44pm and we have 2+ inches of snow and it keeps coming, temp was at 29'. I know it's not like back East or the Mid-west but it still is frickin cold considering our wind factor!!!! I took pics, but the temporary CPU we're using won't let me post anything.  :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:
