Here in northern south eastern Wisconsin, the heat really hasn't been to bad. Only a little above normal. But the damn dew points have been consistant in the upper 60s and lower 70s for a long time now making it really super sticky. I hate the humidity more then the heat.  :P

Football practice was horrible yesterday. 109* and not a cloud in the sky.

Now some weather news from Europe as it is crazy here as well. Our summer except for a few days last month has basically been none excistent. We have had loads of rain and low temperatures. We had a suprisingly warm spring (Warmer than the summer has been so far) and they are saying it will be a warm fall again and a soft winter. So it looks like we'll have 2 summers this year and 1 spring and 1 fall. The most of western Europe (England, the Netherlands, Belgium, North of France and Germany) have had to cope with a lot of rain, lots of floods in England and even some here. The weather is a bit out of control.

I have a friend who lives in England and when we talked the other day she said that there has been tons of rain the last few months (they even got flooded), but things have been a lot better this past month.

Gotta love AZ this time of year huh Harlow???  Nice and hot, with a nice touch of humidity due to monsoon season.  Keep hydrated out there.

Here in Iowa, dew point has been 60's and 70's as well.  Even when it's 76 degrees in the morning it feels gross.  The rain we have gotten in the last few weeks has not helped one bit on the temp.  Certainly makes the grass grow, mowing sucks though.     Sick of humidity, can't wait for it to start cooling off so I can get some work done on my Charger as well.

:pullinghair:  it sucks here in Tn.  I think we may be heading back out west, San Diego, Arizona, or ?

Good thing I didn't waste the dollar on new floaties!!   The storm made landfall about 15 miles from me.  And we got less that half an inch of rain.  :shruggy:  Kind of strange that Dallas is going to get more rain from the storm than we will.  We were 15 miles from the center of the storm and it traveled inland towards San Antonio.  Dallas is about a 6 hour drive northeast and they are getting more of the rain.  CRAZY! :image_294343:

i suspect the rain there and not where you are has to do with the direction the storm rotates.. but that's just an off hand guess...

our low that's been parked of the pacific northwest for two full months is finally moving forecasters are predicting summer weather will finally arrive by next week...

...today however it's still pea soup thick fog and coooold......  :-\

perhaps some will find this useful...

Currently alternating between triple digit temps, and monsoon-like rainstorms.  Both of which suck, as the apartment I moved into has a massive leak in the roof in my bedroom, and no air conditioner.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I was talking to my brother who lives in Peachtree, Georgia and he said it's 110 for days on end and in the evening it's still 100.  Now, that sucks

Rhode Island, on the other hand was a cool 75 on thursday 80 on friday-today.

ive noticed the weather people are starting to pick up on the fact that this low has now been parked off the coast for well over three mos. now.. in the past two weeks ive seen two short mentions of this on TV news shows... we have yet to have a summer here in the bay area ands it's getting pretty late in the year... everyone's talking about the weather but nobody does anything about it..  :slap:

It was real hot here last week, high 80s and humid. Saturday afternoon we had some of the best thunderstorms ive ever seen. About 6 straight hours worth of constant lightning, not alot of high wind but huge bolts of lightning that were non stop. A bolt hit about 30 feet from where I was sitting. It was pretty cool. Im a severe weather nut.

We had a lot of lightning a week ago and it hit this huge ship mast that we have as our flag pole at work. It came from the USS Constitution and was pretty much demolished. They removed it a couple days later.  They are trying to get another one now. The one before lasted 75 years and rotted out. This one only 3 years.

that is sad to hear about the mast..my great-grandpa was on the rebuilding crew of that ship (he is a plank owner).  That ship means a lot to me because of it...to hear about a piece of it gone forever........ :'(

Got woke up with tornado sirens early Friday morn. Another storm  came through. Mostly 60-70mph straight line winds. Mostly just downed trees through out the city.
