The TV show looks like all different people and makeup than the commercials. I wonder why they didn't use the same crew.

One of them is from the commercials. The other two are not.

I'll watch it, but I'm not holding my breath as to it's success. 

I fear that they will ruin a great commercial enterprise by doing a series on these guys.

This isn't the first time a sitcom is based on a funny commercial.  Remember the talking baby on the Quizno's commercials?  There was a sitcom based on him and it tanked.
