What can I use to separate the steering column lock housing?

I've finally got my Parchment steering wheel and Parchment column shift steering column and all I need to do is change the ignition switch. But I have to remove the upper bearing housing. In the 73 Chassis manual it shows some kind of pressing tool that bolts to the plate where the turn signal plate was and the pushes down on the shaft. You also have to remove a snap ring. I know I haven't seen any tool like this at any of my local parts shops. I also want to swap lock cylinders because I have a new one to go in. But I have to figure out how to remove the upper bearing housing. Maybe I have to remove the lock housing too. Where can I get the tools at?

Upper snap ring with some trick you won't need any speciall tool even is true that si better with snap rings plyer to save from damage the shaft groove. bottom one is not necesary.

Then you will need to remove lock wheel. Does have a collar cover and then remove the pin.

I never have used any special tool beside the wheel puller. there are special tools to unjoin everything but maybe you will use just oen time and never more

I got the snap ring out and the upper bearing housing which housed the turn signal switch came up with the lock plate. So I can't get the upper bearing housing off of the lock plate now. I tried the steering wheel lock plate remover tool, but it didn't press out the bearing. So I can't get to the pin that holds the lock plate to the bearing housing. In a Mopar Muscle issue it shows what it calls a steering wheel puller getting the upper bearing housing off. But my steering wheel puller doesn't look like the one in the magazine. Theirs looks more like the original Chrysler tool. Which has a screw that turns down and presses on the shaft and a big washer under it bolted to the housing.
