Ok I installed a voodoo cam in my 360 and got it all put back together.  I got it started and noticed a mechanical clicking noise coming from the engine.  The cam is a hydraulic flat tappet.  My question is, is there normally a clicking noise that goes away after break-in?  I know this is unlikely, just asksing.  More likely I didn't adjust my roller rockers properly.  Thanks for the help I just don't want to shred my new cam.  I go back to school in a few days so time is running short!

Hopefully you broke the cam in with good lube and used the proper procedure. Assuming that was done correctly it could be a loose rocker arm that needs to be tightened up. With hydraulic lifters you need to pre-load the valvetrain .020 inches. This is done while the lifter is riding on the base circle of the cam.
