i wouldn't offer more than 4k for that car. rallye isn't nearly as cool on a 73 as it was in 72.. they made well over 100000 73 chargers, granted most were SE's, but they are not rare. and at the least the car will need minor body work/paint. that's $5k.. do you really want to spend $10k plus $5k for paint etc on a 73 318 car? i know i wouldn't

Hmmmm. Well then, what's a clean, 74 440 Rallye worth? Only 213 made. Must be at least double. I'm accepting offers.....

yeah, More less... ( I take the joke LOL )

These is what I think is more less a fair prices and is more close to reallity than NADAGUIDES LOL... little bit less little bit more:
( quoting from the last WIW thread )

ok I'll try to post the GREAT CONDITIONS WIW cars I think are ACTUALLY fair on a 73/74... maybe just needing some TLC in some cases.
Everything depending of equipment of course
SB SE: 12-14K
BB SE: 13-15K
Hardtop SB ( Rallye ): 14-16K
Hardtop BB ( Rallye ): 16-18K

72s... about 25% more.
71s are another story.

I mean on TODAYS standarts... don't keep in the past with OOOOOOOOLD prices... you need to refresh guys, you are stuck on 2 years ago.

Remember that a 2nd gen Nice restored or conditions was around $20-25K two years ago and now are around $35-40K so why not 3rd gens are getting close to $20K?... I'm not that insane.

And Mustangs/Camaros MUST HAVE ALLWAYS below Chargers prices ANY GEN ( similar year and drivetrain side by side ) so if you see Mustangs/Camaros prices now... I'm not the only one "insane", is the market what is insane.

and we are not talking about E bodies no matter the year... THAT IS INSANE.

another thing came in my mind:

also if you think how hard is get a nice restored 3rd gen beside earliers, even I'm not pretty sure about 1st gen, you think your restore job worths. And an untouched one without need on sheet metal WORTHS.

If you don't think a restore job without enough parts ( including quality ) is worthly, then doesn't worth to restore no matter if is just for personal satisfaction. If you need to sell for an emergency ( God save us ) you expect to get at least you job and care back in money.

Chebbys and Phords owners have it easy.

saying hypothetically it is a real rallye, runs and drives good... 8-10k :Twocents:

offer him 5k and see what he says

FINALLY SOMEBODY SUPPORTS ME!!!

If it's a Rallye car, I would say 8K being it's in nice shape but only a 318 Column Auto/ Bench. I would guess it's a Hardtop because of the woodgrain inserts on the door panel. The Coupes had a insert that looked like fabric.  :Twocents:

EVEN YOU LOL...

About coupe or hardtop. Checking the door panels it could be a hardtop, but bench with cloth insert and without center arm rest makes me doubt... couldn't you get some uipgrade on trim with an extra payment quote even you get a lower option car ?

Maybe canopy roof was part of coupe trim too ?

Nacho... I've been looking at the sway bars on every '73 I come across and I've been seeing both straight and bent varieties regardless of differential.

When I saw the pic of course you came in  my mind inmediatly. Yes could it be but Manual parts doesn't state difference on bar in relation with axle and you are able to check it. The fact is the plates are isolated anyway.
I was speaking of the insert on the door panel not the seat. The Hardtops had a woodgrain insert on the door panel, the WL21 Coupes had an insert that looked like fabric, no woodgrain.

Yeah its a hardtop not a coupe, im 99% sure.

Nacho-RT74

yes but I was asking about because I didn't know if you were able to get an upper lever trim on some stuff even keeping the same VIN. I don't live up there and never have been in USA so I don't know about limits on choose trims. Trims lever are very limited down here.

I have no idea what its worth, but I bet it was a beautiful car in its day. With that white paint, laser stripes, vinly roof and mag wheels. I'd restore it just like it is now. Have some fun with it if you get it. :2thumbs:

Correct 73 318 Rallye hood, and if it is coded V6R then I'd say around 5, possibly 6K.....but I wouldn't give more than 4 personally. Rear sway bar looks correct.
