Painting Fender Scoops Superbird Question

[1970 RT/SE]

How were the fender scoops on the Superbirds painted originally? Was both sides of the scoop painted or just the tops leaving primer underneath? Any help would be appreciated.

Both sides are painted from the factory.   I have seen an NOS set that is painted to confirm it as well.   They were painted off the car of course.

by 'painted n both sides' you mean the white-yellowish tint?  neither of our cars have much exterior paint under them, even the ones krylon'd black...

on my fenders there wasnt much paint under the scoopes either ??
