I haven't ever posted here before but thought I would expand my horizons. Here is a short video of our clubs recent invitation by Miller Motor Sports Park to participate in a Historic Car Show and Parade Lap. The Parade Lap is one of the coolest things I have ever done. More often frequented by GT402, Formula Cars, etc. we had a great time cruising the track. I hope you enjoy the video. My Charger is the B5 one that has the "unfortunate experience".   :eek2:

Now that's an excellent first post. It ought to be made the example to all the noobies from now on. Welcome to the site and excellent '70! :2thumbs:

Couple questions though: why is everyone going so slow on the race track and what happened to your car on that 2nd lap?

Thank you for the props

Answers to questions:

It was a parade lap for Golden Oldies cars with few experienced drivers. For a while the pace car held us down. We had to bunch up into corners so we could open it up on straights. We did get to open up once on the straightaway. As you can see, my camera was thrown back and no video was taken through the straitaway. Of course a wide angle lens setting didn't help much other than to keep the action in the frame.i

I bought my Charger in 74. In 94 I parked and covered it in the garage. Just last February I started working on it to drive it again and to restore it soon. I syphoned out old gas. Have gone through three fuel filters and a new fuel pump. We've all decided the old gas was congealed and plugged up the gas line at the tank. So, acute fuel starvation was the problem.

I know, long answers to short questions, but I've had a great time getting the Charger out again.
